Abstract: A short-lived sub-rectangular enclosure housing a single hut-circle, one of a number of LBA enclosed settlements known in the mid Chelmer Valley (cf 95/1084). There was some pre-enclosure activity in the Neolithic and Early-Middle Bronze Age. N Brown reports on `Prehistoric pottery' (8--16), Alan Saville on the `Flint assemblage' (14--20), H Major on `Miscellaneous finds' (20--1) and P Murphy on `Plant macrofossils' (21).
