Abstract: |
Evidence of a field system on the Southend peninsula, about 1km north-west of the North Shoebury site (96/230) and adjacent to known BA domestic activity. Excavation also recorded residual pottery of later periods and a system of medieval or later land drainage ditches. There are reports on `Prehistoric pottery' (9) by N Brown, `Worked flint' (9) by O Bedwin, `Roman pottery' (9) by T S Martin & C R Wallace, `Saxon and medieval pottery' (10) by H Walker and `Miscellaneous Finds' (10) by H Major. |
