Abstract: Surveys and dendrochronological dating of two buildings on the original Cressing Temple estate: New House Farm of the 1630s and a specialised agricultural building of the late sixteenth century at Hungry Hall, soon converted into a house. Not rebuilding of outmoded properties but new buildings to meet new needs.
