| Abstract: | Gives a summary report of excavations (11 seasons, nearly 2ha) on the 19½ha site in which details of internal planning (especially granaries) were obtained and a date of c 54 for its foundation established. The fortress was demolished in favour of the Caerleon site c 68. | ||
