Abstract: Considers how the recent Welsh Roundhouse Project affects broadly accepted typological schemes for these sites. Reviews past approaches and argues that typological approaches have been significant in the interpretation of Welsh roundhouse structures. Argues that the results of the Roundhouse Project challenge these approaches, emphasising the diversity of construction methods and architectural forms through time. (PP-B)
