Abstract: Excavation of the 'protected' settlement suggested it was an RB replacement of the Iron Age settlement just to its north. A stockade on a low wall surrounded five conjoined houses: C had two phases, ring-groove timber construction followed by stone-founded oval house. Territory of c 100ha?
