Abstract: Reports small-scale excavations carried out under the church floor and in the churchyard, preliminary to alterations. These uncovered post-medieval graves within the nave and sanctuary, the Bowes family burial vault and the Butler tomb (both eighteenth century), and evidence for earlier refurbishments of the church. The churchyard excavations revealed a medieval grave, and deposits containing human bone. PP-B
