Abstract: An account of the second of three public meetings regarding the management of the grounds of Kenwood House. A local lobby group, the Hampstead Defence Association, reportedly fears that planned restoration of Humphrey Repton's eighteenth-century landscape will be a `fake' and will lead to destruction of natural habitats. Some common ground is said to have been established during the meeting.
