| Abstract: | The paper discusses the former Hereford Market Hall, including consideration of new evidence for dating the building, which (it is argued) establishes conclusively its date of construction and many of the various alterations to it. New evidence about the location of the Tolsey or Guildhall in the late-eighteenth century is also discussed. |
