Abstract: Following on a paper published by Ruth Richardson on `Field-names with possible Roman connections' in Transactions of the Woolhope Naturalists' Field Club 48 (1996), pages 453--69, the authors present the results of a geophysical survey undertaken on several fields known collectively as the Chesters, that lie to the southeast of Lyonshall.
