Abstract: SP 195906. Earliest occupation of the site seems to have been domestic rather than religious: five circular buildings are pre-Hadrianic, probably contemporary with a field system. Next came a square wooden temple and two successive replacements in stone. Brooches and toilet items are numerous. A third room of the bath-house to S has been excavated, and a well was discovered.
