Abstract: NZ 342409. Documents and fabric of West Farm are used to suggest a 17th century date for its construction and development, especially in the context of other farms in the township which date to 1634-84 approximately. The upper cruck trusses of West Farm are illustrated, and the 16th century land use and the 17th century farmsteads are mapped.
