Abstract: The fabric appears to contain four phases: (1) ?16th century single-celled 1-storey house with gable-end hearth; (2) before 1627, addition of cross-passage and extra room; (3) mid-17th century, first floor added and new extension, with some refenestration later on; (4) mid 19th century, outshot added. The 17th century tenant came from Middlesex.
