Abstract: A hoard of 197 coins in an earthenware green-glaze vessel were discovered during building work. The group comprised 192 English and 5 Scottish groats. The date of the latest coin was 1466. A second hoard discovered at Dunblane during quarrying comprised 91 silver pennies of which 86 were English, 3 were Scottish and 2 were Irish. Two of the English coins were forgeries. The date of the latest was 1324.
