Abstract: The distribution of incised linear crosses with expanded terminals implies a close association with Iona in the late 6th-9th centuries. The upper stone of a rotary quern found at Dunadd in 1904-5 is carved with a similar cross and is used here to strengthen other evidence for contact between Dunadd and Iona. AR
