Abstract: NZ 286150. Publishes twenty-four objects still traceable after their discovery in 1876, including great square-headed brooches, cruciform and small-long brooches, spearheads, and a single pot with bosses and chevron decoration. There were six skeletons including one child, but it is impossible now to reconstruct the grave groups of this, the richest cemetery north of the Tees. Cultural links are evident with settlers in Deira and Lindsey to the south.
