Abstract:
Summarises the results of an archaeological watching brief during exhumation and relocation of the cemetery to another area of the site. The cemetery was in use from 1867 to 1962. Information recorded included a total of eighty-two headstones; a total of 108 coffins, along with coffin fittings; state of preservation; and burial practices such as orientation, burial positions, vestments, and the proportion of stack burials.
