Abstract: The literary structure of the Latin poem is the main subject, on the basis of the number of lines AD 819 is suggested as the year of composition. Unlike Taylor (abstract 75/3105) the author regards the architectural description (as opposed to the vision) as referring to one church only, interpreting St Mary's aula as a mere adjunct, and proposes an identification with St Peter's, Bywell.
