Abstract: NT 976653. Investigation of cropmark features was limited to a 35m wide strip for a new road, A69, which cut two enclosures, Roman gravel quarries, and a military temporary camp. The pottery scatter appeared to represent midden dumping from the Corbridge fort in the Antonine period, with implications for that site.
