Abstract: An unenclosed settlement of three or four timber round houses underlay nine or ten timber houses enclosed by free-standing and embanked palisades constructed at a date centred on 2nd century BC. Cropmarks nearby reveal a single-ditched enclosure with causeways. BA burials have been found in the past. F B
