Abstract: Reports a circular stone structure, exposed by storms in the late 1980s and excavated in 1994. The structure, associated with other more enigmatic features, was diagnosed as a substantial stone-lined lime kiln, the last firing of which was archaeomagnetically dated to the late-fifteenth to early-sixteenth century.
