Abstract: | A cryptic ring-ditch cropmark first identified by aerial photography was investigated using fieldwalking, flint analyses, borehole transects, Ground Penetrating Radar, mollusc analyses and radiocarbon dating. More than 130 boreholes arranged in ten transects were used to investigate the feature in lieu of excavation. Evidence from radiocarbon dating and pottery fragments place the ring-ditch in the Iron Age. The site warrants wider recognition and further investigation. | ||||||
