Abstract: An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during ground works associated with the construction of a grain dryer. The plough soil contained numerous fragments of coal and 2 struck flints. Upon removal of the disturbed plough soil, no archaeological features or deposits were revealed, except for slight traces of a recently removed farm fence, which ran contiguous to the southern boundary of the current ground works.
