Abstract: Archaeological sites and finds were few in the area of the proposed development but there was a possibility of Roman remains being present. The evidence suggested that the site lay open until being used as a school in the 20th century. The large number of buildings suggested that the ground had been heavily disturbed. [Au(abr)]
