Abstract: The desk-based assessment found there to be little potential for archaeological remains prior to the post-medieval period, when the extant farmhouse and possibly some of the present ancillary structure were constructed (17th century). It was possible that a medieval precursor to Bragbury End Farm existed and there was also some possibility for medieval remains to be located within the site as a settlement at Bragbury End as mentioned in 12th century records.
