Abstract: A single trial trench was excavated at the site. The earliest deposits dated to the Norman period. A large cut feature was identified that was possibly backfilled in the 12th-13th century. A thick layer of 13th century material overlay the site that was sealed by a cobbled surface, cut by early post-medieval post holes. Post-medieval dump deposits were also encountered. [Au(adp)]
