Abstract: An archaeological evaluation was carried out and two trenches were excavated, but neither revealed archaeological remains of any significance. Due to the site's high archaeological potential (close to Hadrian's Wall frontier complex) a further watching brief was recommended in order to monitor the direct impact of the development. [Au(adp)]
