Abstract: A watching brief was carried out during the excavation of foundation trenches for a dwelling and a double garage, at a site which lay near a late 13th century church which may have acted as a focus for settlement in Churchover. No significant archaeological deposits were observed, and no artefacts were recovered. [Au(abr)]
