The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 An evaluation consisting of twenty four trenches yielded a very thin spread of features. Some areas were completely devoid of features especially the south-west part of the site. Of the 27 features only five contained finds. Those without finds were manly considered natural. Many of the features were linear cuts resembling ditches or gullies, but the absence of Late Iron Age and early Roman finds indicate minimal activity in relataion to the probable farmstead previously found to the south-west of this site. The site was probably heathland and not inhabited or used for arable farming.
