The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 During July 2007 ASC Ltd undertook a watching brief during conversion of a building at the rear of 74 Union Street, Newport Pagnell, Milton Keynes. The area lies within the centre of the town and is urban in character. The natural soil profile had been removed and the observed deposits consisted of relatively modern surfaces overlying redeposited material probably present as a consequence of past construction/demolition activity. Evidence dating any of the observed deposits to periods earlier than the late 18th century was not observed.
