Abstract: |
Oxford Archaeology carried out a building recording project on a Grade 1 listed barn on behalf of Regeneration Holdings Ltd. The barn is thought ot have originally been a medieval hall house before conversion to a barn. A series of mortices was identified in the wall plate indicating that the building would originally have had two large projecting oriel windows. A number of carpenters marks were also recorded. |
