Abstract: |
Archaeology South-East was commissioned by MJB Architecture to undertake an Archaeological Watching Brief at Handlye Farm, Barcombe, East Sussex (NGR: TQ 4112 1565). The watching brief monitoring was carried out on the 26th April and related to ground work associated with the construction of a timber framed garage, annex and as well as footings a new porch. The monitored ground work revealed no archaeological finds or features. Topsoil and made ground were observed directly overlay the yellow clay geology. |
