The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 Wessex Archaeology carried out a watching brief during the digging of foundation trenches and the excavation of two deep soakaway complexes. This confirmed the presence of two boundary ditches found during the evaluation, although no further dating evidence was obtained. The larger ditch extended beyond the western limits of the site. Two quarry pits identified during the evaluation were also observed, as were a number of natural and modern features and, in the deep excavations, much swallow- or sinkhole activity.
