Abstract:		 An archaeological watching brief was undertaken by AOC Archaeology Group between the 27th January and 18th June 2012 at the site at 9 Bondway and Lambeth Place, Vauxhall, London Borough of Lambeth. The work was undertaken on behalf of Scott Wilson. The watching brief was conducted on the ground reduction of a parcel of land located outside of the previous building on site. The excavation revealed post-medieval soils overlying natural sandy brickearth and gravels. Also present were the structural remains of backfilled basements of properties that are likely to have bombed during the Second World War. No significant archaeological features were recorded on site.
