Abstract: |
An historic building record of the Roman Catholic church of Our Lady and St Nectan, Hartland was prepared prior to its demolition. The building was constructed and consecrated in 1964 and closed in 2010. It was a prefabricated wooden structure, originally fitted out with typical ecclesiastical fixtures. Many had been removed following the closure of the church. The role of the church in the history of religion in Hartland is also set out in the report. |
