Abstract: |
A mid 19th century brick wall was surveyed and recorded prior to demolition and reinstatement, to enable repair works to be undertaken to a damaged culvert beneath Swan Street. The wall is built from soft orange bricks in a lime moratr and arranged in Flemish bond. Condition is very poor and there have been four phases of rebuilding carried out in the modern period. Thus the wall has little historic character but is curtilage-listed with the former pub, for which there are plans for residential conversion |
