Abstract:		 In April 2010 Archaeological Services and Consultancy Ltd undertook an archaeological evaluation at Mandeville School, St Albans, Hertfordshire, in advance of the construction of a new classroom. The site was situated in an area that had the potential to damage or destroy significant archaeological remains. Three evaluation trenches were excavated but no significant archaeological features or artefacts were present. It is unlikely that the development will have a significant impact on archaeological remains and the archaeological impact of the development is considered to be low.
