Abstract: |
Desk-based assessment and building record of a late 19th century gothic Tudor house and early 19th-century stable block. the house is Listed 2* and incorporates a late 18th-century house known as Park Hall. An evaluation was carried out seperately on the possible site of a Tudor house, that had been demolished by 1740. As a building record the project had great potential but did not occur until the house was under conversion and all the house interiors had been stripped off and some parts demolished. The exterior had already been repaired but its appearance remained the same. The stables were of good quality and unaffected by the development but contained few items of interest. |
