Abstract: An archaeological evaluation was carried out by Guard Archaeology Limited on an area proposed for development at Knockroon Farm, Cumnock, East Ayrshire. The trial trench evaluation investigated 8% of the total area proposed for development (4660.7012 square metres). No significant archaeological features were encountered during the evaluation except a field drainage system relating to agricultural improvement works in the 19th and 20th centuries.
