Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was conducted for Dove Jeffery Homes ahead of the construction of new residential properties on the site of the former Canary Public House, 107 Watling Road, Norwich. The excavations for foundation trenches in four separate areas were monitored. Sherds of Roman pottery were recovered in the vicinity of a pottery kiln identified during earlier evaluation trenching on the site. No other archaeological features or deposits were encountered during these works. |
