Abstract:		 In November 2012 Archaeological Solutions (AS) carried out archaeological monitoring and recording at 9 Gregory Close, North Wootton, Kings Lynn, Norfolk PE30 3SY (NGR TF 6407 2422). The monitoring was undertaken in compliance with a planning condition attached to planning permission for a rear extension to the existing residential property (Planning ref. 12/01405/F). The monitoring revealed no archaeological features or finds. The site may lie outside the zone of industrial activity represented by the slag spreads and that the two areas of Roman activity may be separate entities. That said the sample size i.e. the site, was small.
