Abstract:		 In summer 2009 archaeological investigations were undertaken at Waingels College, Woodley, Reading, Berkshire, during redevelopment of the site. The work comprised observation of a number of machine cut trenches located across the proposed new building locations and, where available, examination of newly excavated foundation and service trenches. Apart from establishing the depth of the existing gravel and character of the overburden, no archaeological features were identified or artefacts recovered.
