Abstract: |
In January 2013 Archaeological Solutions (AS) carried an evaluation at The Manor House, 33 Hoddesdon Road, Stanstead St Margarets, Hertfordshire. The Manor House is situated to the immediate south of parish church. The evaluation revealed sparse residual struck flint and four ditches, three of which contained small quantities (one - two sherds) of medieval (mid 12th - 14th century) pottery. These ditches were sealed by possible habitation layers. |
