Abstract:		 Northamptonshire Archaeology was commissioned to carry out a detailed magnetometer survey on a proposed development site at Chapel End, Sawtry, Cambridgeshire. Two circular earthworks were present on the site but proved to be magnetically invisible. Other features, which were detected magnetically, included a trackway, traces of medieval ridge and furrow field cultivation, and some linear features of uncertain significance.
