Abstract: Border Archaeology was instructed by Border Oak, on behalf of their clients Mr and Mrs Curtis, to carry out archaeological observation of groundworks undertaken during the development of Plot 2 'Woodcote' Back Lane Weobley Herefordshire. The development site lies within the medieval core of Weobley and archaeological observation of foundation trenching was undertaken on March 3rd and 4th 2008. The observation revealed debris relating to modern demolition activity but no finds or features of archaeological significance were identified. Clayey gravels were encountered throughout the trenching at a depth of approximately 0.6m.
