Abstract: |
A programme of evaluation through trial trenching was under taken at a 6.8 ha site to the south of Glasgow. The aim of the evaluation was to provide addtional information regarding the archaeological potential of the site to support a planning application for a housing development. Trial trenching revealed some evidence of rig and furrow across parts of the site, although it was very poorly preserved and only partially survived. No evidence of other archaeological activity was seen. |
