Abstract: |
Archaeological evaluation at the former Dyson works at Hartshill, Stoke-on-Trent, comprising the excavation of four trenches to reveal the extent of survival of structures relating to the former brickworks following the demolition and remediation of the site. The base and central flue of a downdraught kiln was revealed, with the possible remains of a chimney base and relating brick yard surfaces and walls. |
