Abstract:		 During March 2002 a watching brief was undertaken during the groundworks for a detached dwelling and associated access road. Three furrows and one drainage ditch was identified during the stripping and levelling of the house plot. Residual medieval pottery sherds were recovered from the topsoil layer, and animal bone pieces were recorded from the subsoil. [Au(abr)]
