Abstract:		 The watching brief monitored the excavation of footing trenches. This revealed a sequence of undated and recent deposits. Undated activity included two small pits of possible industrial derived origin. Finds retrieved during the investigation included two fragments of 16-17th century pottery and a partial dog burial.
