Abstract:		 The evaluation on the site of the proposed market place redevelopment revealed that the site was occupied in the medieval period and a cobbled surface and butchery waste may date to this period. Other finds and surfaces show that the site was in continual use throughout the post-medieval period although its usage appears to have remained the same. [AIP]
